Coverage and freshness

Brokerage plans, statutory rates and DP charges come from the calculator dataset. AMC and contacts come from the existing broker profiles; regulatory fields are available for 6 brokers. We preserve missing fields and estimated-charge flags. Prices and conditions are dated snapshots; check the linked broker source before a transaction.

Pricing dates in this release span 2026-05-11 to 2026-10-10. A new export does not re-verify prices. Each record carries its own pricing date; support, AMC and regulatory facts retain separate field dates. Pricing URLs are not recorded for Monarch Networth Capital; source status is explicit below.

We review broker charges quarterly and when a pricing change is identified. NSE active-client rankings are refreshed around the 10th of each month; those counts are not in this charges export. Contact and regulatory dates change only when their sources are re-read. See the monthly rankings or the charges comparison for the corresponding tables.

Field reference and units

schemaVersion

Contract version 1. Breaking changes increase the version; old fields remain for one release.

slug / name

The stable KYB broker slug and display name. The index has a brokers[] array of full records; individual files contain one record.

lastVerifiedAt / pricingSource

Pricing verification date (YYYY-MM-DD) and recorded official pricing/calculator URL. A null URL means the pricing source is not recorded. This date does not date support, AMC or regulatory facts.

defaultPlan / plans[]

Default plan key and all plan schedules: key, name, subscriptionFee in INR, subscriptionPeriod, brokerage tuples and dpCharges in INR. Preserve dpChargesEstimated when present.

brokerage tuples

[percent, flat, unit, minimum?] for delivery, intraday, futures and options. Percent is a percentage of turnover per side, flat is INR per order/lot and the optional fourth value is the brokerage floor. Null means that component is absent; [0, 0, "perOrder"] is free brokerage. Where both percent and flat apply, charge the lower value, then apply the floor.

statutoryCharges

Per-segment percentages: stt, gst, stampDuty, sebiCharges and exchTxnCharges. These are rates, not trade totals. Exchange/IPFT treatment follows the calculator dataset.

amc

Optional text and structured detail (annualExGst in INR, billing, first-year and BSDA conditions). Keep the conditions; do not infer a numeric AMC from free text.

support / regulatory

Optional existing contacts, hours and grievance details; available entity name, SEBI registrations, exchange membership and DP identifiers. Identifiers are strings and retain published zeroes and lengths. Missing fields mean not recorded.

_provenance / sources[]

Field-level sourceUrl, verifiedAt and any confidence for exported enrichment facts, retaining original field paths such as demat.amc. sources[] is the deduplicated URL list; a contact source does not verify a price.

license / attribution

CC BY 4.0 license URL plus Know Your Brokerage attribution name and the /data URL.

DP and subscription fees are broker fees, not percentages. A zero brokerage rate does not mean a zero-cost trade: statutory charges and applicable DP fees still apply. Per-lot plans require a lot count. GST applicability and buy/sell incidence are implemented in each brokerage calculator; the JSON rates alone are not a universal total-cost formula.

This broker-data export is licensed under CC BY 4.0. Credit Know Your Brokerage, link to this dataset and the license, retain the source dates and indicate any changes you make. The license covers this export; broker logos and linked source documents retain their own terms.
