These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website knowyourbrokerage.in (the "Site"), operated by Know Your Brokerage ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What this Site is

Know Your Brokerage is an independent information and comparison resource for Indian stock brokers and financial calculators (brokerage, EMI, income tax, and similar tools). The Site is free to use, requires no account, and does not facilitate, broker or execute any trade or investment.

2. Not investment, legal or tax advice

Nothing on the Site constitutes investment, legal, accounting or tax advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or an endorsement of any broker. We are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an investment adviser or research analyst. You should consult a qualified, registered professional before making financial decisions.

3. Calculator results are estimates

The brokerage, EMI, tax and other calculators on the Site produce estimates based on publicly available rates and formulas at the time of computation. Actual charges, taxes and EMIs applied by your broker, exchange, lender or government authority may differ. You must verify the final numbers with the broker, lender or official source before acting on them. We make no representation that the displayed rates are current, complete or correct, even though we try to keep them up to date and tag each broker entry with a lastVerifiedAt date.

4. Third-party content and links

Broker names, logos and pricing information are the property of their respective owners and are used here for the sole purpose of identification and comparison. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any broker except where we explicitly disclose an affiliate relationship (see our Affiliate Disclosure). Outbound links to broker sites or other third parties are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for the content, products, services, or privacy practices of any third party.

5. Intellectual property

The Site, including its layout, text, graphics and code, is owned by Know Your Brokerage and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view, share and link to our pages for non-commercial use; you may not copy, scrape or republish substantial portions of the Site without prior written permission.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or networks (for example through scraping, denial-of-service attacks or unauthorised access).
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code or non-public data from the Site.
  • Use the Site to harass, defame or impersonate any person or entity.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and all calculator outputs are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the calculator outputs match the charges levied by any specific broker.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Know Your Brokerage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data, business opportunity, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or reliance on any information or calculator output contained on it. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied with the Site is to stop using it.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Know Your Brokerage harmless from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

10. Changes to the Site and Terms

We may add, modify or remove features, calculators, broker entries or any other content at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Site or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
